Since my last post we have been back to Gib twice, we absolutely adore it, but we beg PLEASE stop building tower blocks, and also PLEASE do something decent with Europa point. It has the potential to be a spectacular lookout point without becoming tacky. The bird life is awesome and would be a great selling point for tourism. I cannot wait for hubbie to retire so we can live there (probably in one of the high rise that I want them to stop building, lol)

Some diverse comments on your vid I appreciate it was very personal to you but anyone who had actually lived there would understand what you where trying to do.....

I don't think it's the most beautiful place in the world but it does get right under your skin can't explain it but I love it to although when I lived there I didn't think about it . I think I'd live there or very near if I could anyone living there at the mo are pretty lucky...I was there in the armed forces and I don't think the locals were that keen on the military .... Could some of you locals clarify this for me...

Nope, not that I know of. I think they're ok with them, I am at least. "typical Gibraltarians" do tend to have issues with any authority figures hehe, don't take it too personally :)

Why do people cry when they return to Gib? My wife does exactly same when we go. I lived there in 88-90. It does get under your skin great memories wonderful history...I love going there ex RAF....it has changed massively
