This video shows what Sullivan Chambers looks like. There are two main sections, the public gallery on the left, and the main chamber for the City Councillors on the right.
The ceiling is high, and in the back is the door to the "Green Room," where many councillors, and or their aids hang out during meetings. They often call in their votes from inside the green room, or step to the door to vote. Food is served here, and there is a telephone.
Is it reasonable and necessary to ban people with disabilities who are accompianied by guide dogs from public meetings in large public meeting halls?
As you can see their is a service dog present. The councillor on the far left, sitting right next to the public gallery wants the City to ban guide dogs, service animals from City Council meetings in Sullivan Chambers due to her allergies, which she claims constitute a disability. She claims she cannot work when "an animal is introduced into the Chamber."
