I couldn't see how the hero could feel any real love for Erana. If anything he fell in love with Katrina and mourned her death.

As much as I loved Quest for Glory, this may sound dubious, but I think they should continue this series in one way or another way. So far, nothing has happened, but it's so unfair. Tons of old games get a reboot or a new sequel, but there's only one Quest for Glory.

@notapplicable66 pfft please! By this stage he has tamed the bandits in Spielburg, saved the desert Katta's from Iblis, helped the lion people of the Savannah and kicked Ad Avis's ass even after he's been dead for two games!
There's plenty of hero to go around! Chicks dig him, guys wanna be him. He's the Prince of Shapeir and the taker of magical mistresses virginities everywhere!

As a QfG fan, I like all five games, but I would have to say that the second one is my absolute favorite. The old-time typing plus the combat system made it exceptional. I am interested in the remake of Trial by Fire, but I am not sure that I want to download it. I like the ending music for QfG4: Shadows of Darkness when the hero is being congratulated by the townsfolk. It reminds me of the happy endings of so many films I have watched.

@Warrior1984100 I enjoyed the remake, and it did add some nice features, but I think the original will always be first in my heart.

I would rank the Quest for glory games from best to worse. Quest for glory 1, Quest for glory 4, Quest for glory 5, Quest for glory 2, and the worse was Quest for glory 3.

Mine would probably be 2,4,5,1,3. 4 was a great game but was marred with bugs. At the time I had to play it on a 486 so while I had some crashes due to not having enough memory when sounds got intense (like during fights) I never ever had any game breaking bugs like the ones that existed on faster computers. I liked QfG1, had a lot of humour and charm in it, but it feels a little more like a children's game than the later entries

Yeah 4 had some huge problems, it was frustrating. I loved 1 but it definitely felt a lot shorter than the others (understandably, being the first one really).
