Travelling along the Continental Divide has been a great experience. In the months September and October, I cycled across the most remote states of the US; Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico. Sceneries changed from thick forests, steep mountainsopen plains to steep mountains. Snow, Halloween, school presentations, newspaper interviews. All along the route, Americans warmly welcomed me. More than ever, I respect their hospitality and resourcefulness.

In New Mexico, Jody pulled over to the side of the road to invite me over to his house. In the Laguna Pueblo Reservation, I got to know Native American history and culture. A coyote running to the East is of no good. And dust devils should be spit at!

n the North-East of Montana, United -States, the day came to an end. I had been cycling over unpaved forest roads for the entire day and was looking for a flat place to pitch my tent. Then, my attention was drawn by a sign "Gallery Open". Without thinking, I followed the sign and took the exit further into the woods. Clay faces, with sometimes sinister grins, stared at me while approaching a log cottage. In the wooden house, I found Peter Moore staring at the mountains in the distance. He welcomed me warmly with a cold beer on his porch. During my two days stay, Peter appeared to be a true phenomenon, a great painter.

This episode starts with a short impression of the first part of the Great Divide. The forest trails are unpaved and steep giving a new dimension and challenge to my journey. In the second part, I follow Peter in his daily activities and ask him a couple of questions. Do not forget to watch Peter's true dream after the closing credits!

Also, find out more about Peter's aspirations to become President of the United States! I quote: "Keep the Change, we want Moore!"
