I waved goodbye to Nick as he pulled his car out of the driveway.
Closing the door, I was pulled back, someones arms wrapping around my waist.
Joes hot breathe against my ear sent chills down my spine, jerk, he muttered.
I shook my head, moving his hands away, You started it by looking through my closet.
Joe smiled, plopping down on the couch, Is it such a crime that your underwear interests me?
I gasped, and ran over to him, YES!, I yelled, smacking him.
He chuckled, running away, HEY! I never said I touched it!
I sighed, falling back on the couch, Jerk, I murmured, sticking my tongue out at him.
He grinned, laying beside me.
So, I began, what is it that you did?
He turned to me, scrunching his nose, I dont want to talk about it anymore.
Oh come on, I whined, tell me.
He pouted, shaking his head, Nope.
I stood up, looking around, what if I give you a cookie will you tell me then?
He shrugged as I walked over to my kitchen cabinets.
I frowned as I pulled out an empty box of Oreo cookies, JOE!, I hollered.
His head shot up, and he shook it, Uh. IT WASNT ME, I SWEAR!!
I glared at him, throwing the box in the trash, you ate all my cookies!?
He laughed nervously, psh, no, I- Im allergic to them.
I walked towards him, wiping a chocolate crumb off of his lip, uh-huh, hope you took your allergy medicine Joe.
He innocently grinned, his adolescent eyes bringing a small smile to my face.
Dork, I muttered, walking over to the living room.
He grabbed my hand pulling me back, how bout I go and take you to buy some more cookies?
I bit my lip, looking down, Joe placing his fingers onto my chin.
Slightly stroking it, I looked up at him, Please, he said, his big brown eyes pleading.
I pouted, poking him lightly on the chest, Jerk.
He chuckled, is that a yes or a no?
Walking over to my closet I pulled out my coat, its a yes, now hurry up before I change my mind.
He smiled, sliding his car keys out of his pocket, tossing them up in the air, and catching them in front of me.
Smooth, I said, walking out of the house, Joe following behind me.
-At The Store-
We roamed around the store, dragging the shopping cart around.
Joe, a big smile on his face, tossed a box of cookies into the cart.
He shoots, he paused, leaning in, HE SCORES!!, he yelled out, twirling around the aisle.
I shook my head, moving right by him.
He followed behind me, what?, he asked, shrugging.
I sighed, tussling his hair, its a good thing your cute.
His face went from tan to a deep red in a matter of seconds, he was blushing.
I playfully gasped, quickly tapping his cheeks, Dude, your blushing!!, I smirked, driving by him.
He pouted, shaking his head, am not!
Are too!, I protested, standing on my tip-toes, trying to reach a box of cereal.
His warm, and soothing arms wrapped around my waist, slowly lifting me up.
I reached out for the box, clutching it to my chest as he set me down.
Butterflies swarming around in my stomach, I turned back to the cart, avoiding eye contact with Joe.
He continued on and about his little game of basketball while my mind was pre-occupied with other things.
More like facts actually, The fact that I never seemed to get visions when I was around Joe.
I never seemed to worry, never seemed to break down.
I glanced over at him as he argued with a 5 year old holding a lollipop, this was going to get ugly.
I shook my head, walking over to Joe and the little boy.
Hey sweetie, I said, gesturing to the boy.
Joe turned to me, oh, hey.
I rolled my eyes, kneeling down, Is he bothering you?, I asked, glaring up at Joe.
The little boy nodded, his baby blue eyes, staring back at me.
I smiled, pinching his cheeks, awh, what did he do?
The little boy stuck his lips out, he twied to twake my wollipop.
I squealed, his adorable voice bringing a wide smile to my face.
Oh really?, I said, turning my head to Joe.
I gently smacked him in the back of the head, leave the poor boy alone Joe! If you wanted a lollipop you couldve of just asked!
Joe glared at the little boy, his mouth wide open in disbelief.
I shook my head, kneeling back down and placing my lips onto the boys cheek, run along sweetie, I called out to him as he skipped to his mother.
Joe pouted, walking beside me, he started it, he muttered.
Is sighed, leaning my head on Joes shoulder, just shut up Joe, I murmured, walking along the aisles and up to the cash register.
The cashier scanned my items, Thatll be $10.50, she said, looking down and filing her nails.
I slid out my wallet, and reached for my money when Joes hand stopped mine, Its on me, he said, smiling warmly.
And at that moment I couldve sworn my heart skip a beat.
