  • I wasnt aware Bono said what he says at the start, you dont see that in the R+H film. This is also in black and white in the film. The album sleeve refers to this as 'the "save the yuppie" concert' - and puts the words in inverted comma's as I've just done. Therefore they are saying people referred to it as that, it wasn't actually that. Bono said in a 1988 interview: 'some radio stations reported we did a Benefit for the yuppies, which was funny!". So even he is saying it wasn't such a Benefit.

  • 3.48 - 4.02 the extra lyrics that Bono added in-

"All I've got is a red guitar, three chords, and the truth

All I've got is a red guitar, the rest is up to you"

Bon Jovi's 'I Want You' from their 1992 album

"All I've got is my guitar, these chords, and the truth

All I've got is my guitar, but all I want is you"

Surely Jon didn't use Bono's lyrics from this performance???

  • I was there, we drove down from Marin when we heard about it that morning, smoked some good stuff, brought a bottle of wine and had a good time, great memories

  • that just is all the things going on, lest make it;s better

  • @TKTnetwork Well yes it is. A band in U2's position at the time was very important for the simple fact they had the whole of america watching them. What they Did. What they said. What they played. How they played and this particular concert was broadcast on Radio and Television heard by millions still forming their opinions of the band. Live is were U2 belong and for the amount of time they had to play the song they did good.

  • @flossy411 Yes I know! Edge even varies the the chords a bit with single notes but it is all played very simple and basic not really worth to mention!

  • @Marguns Just so you know they learned the cords for this song 5 minutes before they went on stage

  • no entiendo tantas críticas para con la originalidad o no del tema. la ejecución es muy buena. y punto.

artista es cada uno en sí mismo.

    pero yo entiendo poco.

  • sounds good, video poor
