  • The OSUMB began playing Eternal Father quite a few years ago in tribute to all those in the service. It's usually played first before the band plays their pregame and halftime music. You aren't the only one that fights tears every time they play it.

  • They have been playing this since the 80's. I remember it as a kid. The band directors uniforms are based on a naval officers uniform.
