@PleasantlyPeanut I appreciate your rationality. It’s a bright Gem in the bleakness of Youtube “comments”. When I converted, pride became my enemy. Having been somewhat of a materialist it’s been a difficult adjustment to go against (as my comments will show). Religion is as corruptible as any other human institution, yet it doesn’t halt one’s own case for faith. Bacause of my faith I dont bear arms, vote, and help others. Yet folks still try to find ways to take issue with it.

@whitefire1997 I’m sorry to be of offense. That is how I conducted myself at one time, and continues to see others operate in that same fashion. Yet your tone and language was not conciliatory, nor did it reflect on the “offense” you feel. Calling me a fool (right after you said “sorry”!?), hypocrite, or a huge a** will not endear any but the proud to your “argument”. I'm still acratching my head though at what made you that greatly offended. I should be doing better though.

You are no better than the small amount of atheists who want to yell and curse at anyone who believes in god. I am an atheist and you have greatly offended me. Please do not take the actions of few and label us all. That is being a huge ass. I would never call you a crazy person because another christian cut off her babies arms in the name of Jesus.

@luckylacey77 I never said there is proof that a god does not exist, the odds are just extremely low given the lack of evidence. There is just as much of a reason to believe in a god as there is unicorns/fairies. I do not feel I have anything to lose as I have read the bible and I am extremely happy being an atheist and since I believe in only this life, I live this life to be the best person I can be, happy and full of life. So no, Christians only think they have the upper hand.
