  • @zerosword112 oscar de la hoyas mom died in 1990

  • @iljn1988 she was very important in his life though. Look at 00:56, he hardly even shows affection to his dad. He dedicated much of his earlier career's fights to his mom.

  • very rare and appreciated upload.. thank you

  • @iljn1988 yes but he dedidacted the fight to his mom or as u say mum

  • @zerosword112, De la Hoya's mum had been dead for at least six years at this point...Not sure what you're talking about.

  • ODLH just contradricted himself in this interview, first he said boxing is influenced by outside.........but then he says it was his skills......what a joke! Pernell beat JCC and ODLH hands down!

  • @johncena001 sounded like heavyweight...

  • @HellsHighwayTrooper no he says new welterweight champion...

  • truthfully... truthfully... whitake was so evasive and he blocked most of oscars shots... whitaker even played with oscar and got in his head and it worked sometimes but... truthfully... oscar dedicated this fight to his mother who passed away before the fight... they gave him the fight because u know it would suck if he just lost after his mom passed

  • the announcer said NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD?
