It was a great fucking movie! That gun fight in the basement bar that like took 10 seconds was fucking insane. Everyone died lol and Brad Pitt was so over the top but it was fitting for this movie. 4 stars agreed :)

The "Tarantino Totem Pole of Awesomeness"...nice!

Good review!
When I walked out of the theatre, I didn't quite know how I felt about it, but upon further reflection I think it's an awesome movie. However I feel as if it was a little bit rushed. Some of the edits are jumpy and the structure needed a little work as well. And I would have liked more time focused on the Basterds. Besides that though, great film.
And liked your use of the House of the Blue Leaves theme from Kill Bill at the beginning too. Great piece of music.

I understand what you are saying. But as you can tell, I liked it immediately. And no, not because i'm huge on Tarantino. The rush to tell you the truth I didn't feel it. The writing I guess is just too good to let you go. And if there are jumpy edits I think it worked in favor for the movie. After all, Tarantino likes his movies jumpy and so do I.
