The position of the tongue in the mouth will cause the air to speed up. Saying "eee" raises the tongue up and also speeds up the air. That is how I get higher notes

I have to disagree. Blowing fasteris ONE way, but not the correct way to reach the top overtones. The air must speed up, but this is accomplished by raising up the back of the tongue. This makes the air move faster because the space is smaller. Closing your throat will only cause a pinched- off air stream. It is really tough to quantifiy what is happening in your mouth when you play;)
