Speaker scam hits Winnipeg again!

The White Van Speaker Scam is back in Winnipeg again!
Do not buy stereo speakers from anyone off the street that approaches you with "The deal of a lifetime" The speakers are JUNK!

These con artists are active in Winnipeg as of April 10, 2007.
If you are approached to buy stereo speakers get license plate # and report it to police. Or "accidentally" smash the speakers by dropping or kicking them!

These scammers were seen in Winnipeg near Kildonan Place Mall on Feb. 22 2008 driving a White Van. Manitoba licence plate EVW 684

The driver was an asian guy.

I just got hit today.... They got 300 from me... To hell with this scammers, I thought it was a good buy since my daughter is turning 3 years old this weekend and I just wanna throw a good party for her and her friends. *Speaker scam* in brampton all of my family member were partying and bbq outside. suddenly a white Cadillac Escalade SUV pulled up and start talking shit like o we got most expensive speakers blah blah. they open the trunk there is 6 or 8 divince speaker sets were in there my dad my dad's aunt and my dad's aunt cuzin bought it. not sure how much was the total. but they got scammed. But my aunt took there licence plate number.
