Nar! rare dance practice - short clip -

Per friend requests, here's the small rare clip of me at dance practice I promised to upload. I always loved to dance and when the whole "break dancing" scene came back in L.A. in the mid 90's, I jumped right in and spent a few years working it up with a few friends. Eventually I've gotten to a point where I was able to take in competitions and other exhibitions professionally. I stopped doing it in regards to my current career in art. But not completely. Every now and then, I hit the dance floors.
I miss these times. :) Unlike large % of b-boys out there, I never did this to show off or did I ever think I was some kind of hot shot. I did it because it fascinated me and I loved the way it made me feel personally. It was like flying. :) I spent more time doing it in private local gyms than I did outdoors or at dance clubs.
Took a lot of years of hard practice. I caved in my ribs once and damaged my wrist. But, they healed and I kept going hehe. Thank goodness the injuries were never serious.
Anywho.. thanks for watching. It's nothing crazy. Just a small clip from a personal collection. Rock on!

Orale NAR! Man it's amazing how much you and I have in common. Looking at this reminds me when I was around 8 or 9 yrs. old, walking around Boyle Heights with my brother and his friend and of course, some cardboard! I didn't take it any further but I have to admit, it was a shit load of fun! Great stuff in this video. Major props man!!!
