@gimli1980 Thats his point? People don't use Ipods to download music... they put downloaded music on ipods... or music they bought (just joking). I see your point though.

This is not about who or what's to blame for what. This is about symbolism and about thinking about it.

@gimli1980 PRECISELY! This is why music is no longer as great as it was! Remember the days when you had to save for weeks and months to buy one album, and you had to walk to the store, and it only lasted for so many listens! Bah, it's all gone away, that feeling...

@gimli1980 I agree, however, i myself download torrents, but for different reasons. I don't have the money to buy an original record for i live in Brazil, and the effort to own such a thing is huge, but even tough i download it and it seems cheap, i devote myself to give the best value i can to it, and i'm always trying to spread the word. I wish i could buy the vinyls and cds, maybe in the future.

Yeah, but I'm not so sure you're getting his point:
Nowadays, more people just download entire records and even discographies just because they think it's cool to have monstrous amounts of music in their computers... THEY've lost that sacred feeling of worshiping a record you actually work you ass off for buying.. Just because they can easily download torrents from more and more bands they don't really care the whole concept of musicality itself...
Damn, ran out of characters...
