The talented teens in the Satellite High School Program at the Milwaukee Art Museum create an original hip-hop track in the Museum galleries, inspired by Jim Campbell's "Taxi Ride to Sarah's Studio" (2010), with the guidance of H2O Milwaukee Music's Dwight and Marquis Gilbert! For one hour, teens recorded rythms and melodies, scratched on turntables, and connected music theory with visual art. This video, filmed by the teens and edited by H2O Milwaukee Music, shows our process: interpreting the artwork and creating the music.
