  • Howlin' Wolf's recording is far superior. This recording was really a waste of space.

  • Howlin' Wolf's the best. Sam Cooke should never have recorded it. The Stones version helped to introduce this music to a wider audience.

  • yeah,, gotta love Willie, but the wolfs version is the definitive version.

of course the stones wonderful version (and there 1st hit) did alot to bring this great music to the white audience & recognition to the likes of Willie , Wolf & muddy.

Sam Cooke was great,, but his version here is just too smooth, too clean. i give it a thumbs down

  • @mrallcz Luther Allisons's version on Bad news is comin is my favorite

  • Which is the best?

    Howlin' Wolf 's one?

I knew a hard rock version of early 70's, but forgot the band's name. Anyone remember?

  • All the way live

  • Sounds funky

  • wonderful..

each version different but soo good!

    thanks very much

  • Nice vid. thanks for the share. Do you know what year each of these 3 renditions were released?
