You coach a team of software developpers(people who write the code). You drive them in the right direction. So you make decisions on how the structure will look like based on the requirements the investors and the customers impose. You guide the development in the right direction in the same way a normal architect makes the plans and gives directions to the engineers and workers for the construction of a building.
I'm still unsure of the role of a software architect. Is it designing the layout of software eg. This button goes here. Or is it actually writing the code for the programs? Please answer I'm 15 and thinking about my future career.
Why is it that everytime I try an iterative technique to solve my software design problem it always turns out to be terogative? Does that mean that I should abandon the iterative and go for a relusative approach? Or should I be more algamative?
