I'd have loved so much to have been at that comic con; Henry Selick, Miya-freakin'-zaki and John Lasseter all in one building at the same time? I'd have cried.

When Princess Mononoke was shown in Japan in 1997, it was declared the last work for Miyazaki.
The announcement achieved the effect that the work gained most viewers in Japan at that time. But he made the next movies.
He has feelings to bring up the successor but have not been able to now, and He is dissatisfied with a present animated cartoon production environment. Various missions and troubles keep making him make the works.
