I loce this place, I dont know if they still show movies here, but back in the early 90's they did. I watched Train Spotting here when it was first released. Hell they even had a full service bar so you could enjoy the movie with a cold cocktail or beer. I miss Wilmington. One Great Town full og Great Great People !!!!

Spent the night in Thalian Hall many times (I am a former Wilmington Theater freak..dont ask.) and heard lots of stuff I cant explain. Thats why I love old theaters.

Like any other community theater in the sticks, it's haunted by delusion. This place (among thousands of others) was the basis for Cory St. Clair and "Waiting for Guffman."

I sat up all night hunting ghosts with buddies there before I started TNCPS. We heard voices saying "Get out',etc. I'd call the place haunted.

my mom did a play there and she went to the bathroom and saw someone and thought is was one of her friends in costume and she went back and saw her friend never moved from her seat! and for proof the girl was asleep in her chair!
