NYPD Blue John Kelly - No Defence

This is a little tribute to Detective John Kelly of NYPD Blue. I recently watched S1 of the show, and fell completely in love with him. Every time he'd come on-screen, I'd always start smiling. His charm, character and wit all made me a big fan of his, and it was a shame that he didn't stay on the show longer.

I only hope this slideshow does John Kelly justice, and shows how much I admire and adore him. :) Song is by Lucie Silvas.

This was the second of my two slideshows I made a while back for John, the other one might be a bit much with the caps from 'True Confessions',(drool alert!! lol), so I'll post this one first, 'cos it's sweet, then I'll consider the other one for another time. :) Maybe an August treat??

Lucie Silvas. :) Her album 'Breathe In' is really good, with even more great songs like 'Seven Veils'. She's great!!

I like him very much, although he is so unreal like a string puppet or smt. He just does not look like ordinary human being, and it is not a backward compliment.

It was clear in David's last NYPD episodes -series 2, that he was losing weight and by the time we saw the fabulous 'Michael Hayes' series in early '98, it was at times disturbing how 'lean' he was and 'pasty' in close-up, but he was co-producing the series and that might explain it. His impact in 'CSI Miami' was amazing, as he hit his stride again. Fav 'NYPD' episode is no. 7 Series 1'Personal Foul', particularly the famous 'Hey!...' Hey!...' end-scene, surely a 'must' clip for 'youtube'....

He was greedy and wanted more money then the other actors on the show. The only solution was to refuse him the high payment and he left.

As for his "charm", if you consider one liners a charm then I can only wonder what makes good tv for you!
