Introduction [Part 1 of 16]. Introductory remarks, character selection for Lilly Black and her familiar Bones a.k.a. Bonehead or Bonesy, and introductory sequence. At the Halls of Fate, the Eternal Spirit, Keeper of the Flames of Fate, bids Lilly as a wandering spirit to fulfill her destiny and pass through the Veil of Time to enter Ghaarak, a northern outpost of the Sharakhan Empire of Abaran, as the daughter of a local magistrate. Is it all just a dream?

The misadventures of Lilly Black, a lawful evil elven wizard in Neverwinter Nights: ShadowGuard. An impromptu Let's Play to acknowledge the continued, tremendous support given to me. Thanks, everyone!

Playing premium module version 1.1 with Neverwinter Nights patched to version 1.69.8109 (bioware.com).

Developed by BioWare (bioware.com) and published by Atari (atari.com) in 2002.

  • Here we are in 2011, less than one month away from Skyrim, and yet they're STILL making mods for NWN! Shame on you DAII, for shame, may EA get hacked by anonymous!

    Modders + user-friendly SDK= game immortality!

Thanks a lot for uppin' this, DL'in in another tab as we speak!

  • @dunmer2007 Yeah, the community's great. The loss of the old BioWare forums--thanks to EA, presumably--was quite a blow, though... there was a wealth of developer information collected over the years that simply vanished overnight. :/ Sure. I hope you enjoy!

  • Ah, a return to Neverwinter Nights, and a treat that is ShadowGuard. I had to restrain myself from watching these videos earlier, as I had fallen behind in your Baldur's Gate II Let's (Role)Play and didn't wish to watch something else and start forgetting details from that epic saga.

I've poked around on your blog from time to time, and was quite curious to experience your more narrated approach to your videos.

This is sure to be another treat.

  • @NS13Guardian Sorry, Guardian, YouTube never informed of your comment! Yeah, this was kind of an experiment to combine narration as from the Wasteland Let's Play with the regular commentary I was doing in the Baldur's Gate series. I'm glad you think so--thanks! :)

  • i have neverwinter nights 2, and it does not play on my PC. well, it runs, but I can't se the character. is there some sort of error or is the disc just malfunctioning or what? please reply on how to fix this. (:

  • @brokenblade45 Hey, brokenblade'. I'm not sure I can help you with the sequel. Have you tried posting on the BioWare forums? They moved to social[.]bioware[.]com.

  • This is a "tiresome" video. =p

  • This video went viral on Pyongyang

  • Grrr, I meant "Damned" cursed typo! ;^)

  • @mynameisnotlilly

Well, at least we still have Bethesda! Yeah, Oblivion was little more than an interactive screen saver, (not unlike NWN's dry bore-fest) but at least they still support the modders, not to mention we (Beth-soft) have Obsidian, EA be deamned!

Skyrim+User-friendly SDK=Flunking out of school, lol!

  • Dude, you're a creaper.
