  • I don't know about coryarcangel, but I for one love (much of) Schoenberg's music and also love this video! You can appreciate a piece of music and still enjoy making a joke of it.

  • Holy shit this is so fucking brilliant.

  • @calado7cap tienes razón amigo. Mi madre todavia los ha criticado mas, no obstante es evidente que a pesar de estar muy inexacto e inmaduro el video desde punto de vista musical, el trabajo ha debido de ser enorme.

  • Love the premise but I really hope people don't think this is an accurate rendering of Schoenberg. The joke that 12 tone music sounds like cats randomly jumping on piano keys is probably a little too close to what the average person really thinks of it. I cannot agree that it sounds the same as, say, the Glenn Gould, at any moment.

  • The Schoenberg is actual Schoenberg; he found videos to splice together to match the music.

  • I can't believe i'm actually watching this and loving it.I got too much time on my hands and the same goes with the makers of this movie.Or i have to be really bored to find this kind of stuff amusing.By the way the part at :37 sounds just like Schoenberg. There's actually a lot of thinking involved in producing that noise in Schoenberg's music. It's really an organized chaos on a pure intellectual level.I can't listen to it but others(Frank Zappa at one time)find inspiration in it.

  • Cats have souls.

  • I wonder if a cat finds those clusters of notes dissonant in the way that a human ear often does. I guess we'll never know the answer to that one.

  • By the way - I had to cut the link out cause it doesn't seem to like it. If you want to see what I said on our Art Blog then you will have to check out our profile - the address is there.

  • Hey - just thought I'd say this is HOT HOT HOT. I blogged about it here cause I fucking love it (scroll down - its near the bottom now). Anyway - this is a stunning work with a lot of depth - and it makes me laugh!!!!!!!!! Great stuff.

Funny thing is, I assumed you were unknown (cause I chanced upon this totally by accident) and then, after doing some research, realized that you are VERY well known now. How does it feel to be canonized man?? Is it weird??

    Love

  • @lemoneater88 in fact, Schoenberg's Op. 11 is not 12 tone. it's free atonality.
