  • @sergio40195 Yea.. you were saying? England was going to smash the USA? HAH..

  • What a garbage draw. Besides The Brits, Yanks Got Lucky.

  • are people seriously trolling over whos going to go through? just enjoy the matches. jeez.

  • good to see Americans passionate about the world cup

  • @Hardstylefan100 Handanovic is quality for Slovenia, and he'll have to be flawless for Slovenia to win a game, let alone qualify.

    England 2-1-0, 7 pts

    USA 1-2-0, 5 pts

    Algeria 0-2-1, 2 pts

    Slovenia 0-1-2, 1 pt

my opinion, but i think realistically we'll see this may be one of the more difficult groups to call

  • @sergio40195 as far as 2006, we never play well in Europe, just look at history. I'm going to echo Jfreedman, it will be an amazing game. England has quality but they are literally limping into South Africa while USA has improved drastically over the past four years and have tournament experience on South African soil. England will not smash USA, 1-1 draw. England wins group on goal differential, USA 2nd.

  • @ROBINSON300r that can be said about anybody, Italy was good until they reached Brazil

  • good until you reach the Brazill

  • @sergio40195 its not because we think we will beat England, but because it will be an amazing game! A ton of Americans follow the premier league and know many of England's players + our two countries have a ton of history with one another. Also, if the USA does manage to beat England (unlikely, I recognize that), just imagine how devastated the English will be! That entire country would fall apart.

  • i dont get why americans are so excited to face england? i mean yeah sounds like a good rivarly but england is gonna smash on usa. usa didnt even make it out of the group stage in 2006!!!
