Live and Kicking Series 8 titles

Here is the final set of titles to the Live and Kicking series, 2000 - 2001, a revised theme tune a slightly revised logo with a full relaunched title set, graphics and jingles, 4 new presenters.... This was the final series of L&K and for the 1st time ran all year without a summer break....

Thing is, I thought that this final run of L&K was actually better than SM:tv Live. Maybe Ant & Dec were funnier, but the structure of L&K was better.

I suppose I was not quite the target age, as I used to watch it whilst getting ready for work. :-/ But my take on it was that Ant Dec & Cat had made a strong impression whilst L&K was at a low ebb, so the revamp was simply ignored.

If the BBC had held their nerve for a few months longer L&K would have put them in a much stronger position than TSS.

@thepod96 TMI is funny and does have the making of a good show, with good presenters. If the BBC were willing to pump the money in, I'd make a few major alterations. Firstly I would move to a much larger studio (one like l&k / Saturday show) with a large studio audience; it gives the show much more of an atmosphere. I'd also have regular live music performances, and add an additional female presnter.

@jaychristie909 TMi series 1 was brilliant. If they ever repeat that, you'll see it did have the effect L&K and SMTV had. I woke up early just to watch it.

I think if the BBC gave TMi more money and a bigger slot they'd almost be up there. Certainly the closest thing to L&K and SM:TV since. But they won't cos kids TV doesn't make money...:(

Not like L&K and SM:TV gave us some of the biggest primetime presenters now is it? Oh wait...hello Ant & Dec.
