@0613162k I think it's time we all started taking a long, hard look at Vince - the self appointed czar of economic debate in this country.

He actually hasn't been that persistent at all - he flip-flopped on Northern Rock for example. And what about that nauseating "Mansion Tax" policy that goes against the grain of British aspirationalism and seeks to curtail our property-owning rights. Don't forget that many modest properties in the South East would fall into the bracket of his new tax.
