The Anatomy of a Cosplay Photoshoot

An informational vlog about cosplay photoshoots coming from a cosplayers perspective. The focus is more on what's involved with a shoot as well as some tips. A lot more could have been said, but really the best way to learn is by doing! :)

I'm by no means an expert here, I'm just wanting to help out others and share some of my personal experiences.

As a photographer, I can offer this: It's better to have and not need than need and not have. On a scheduled shoot, bring just about everything that you can think of. But be aware that preparation is key. Try to have a shooting card or schedule. They are going to help you get the things that you want to do done. But don't be afraid to just wing it. As you point out, candid shots are often amazing.
