THIS VIDEO IS MISLEADING!!!!!!!!
I have been playing badminton for years and the grips shown on this video are totally wrong (Both grips). Please DO NOT learn from this serie.
Why it's wrong: 1. I tried to smash with this grip, but my hand always slips. 2. You would not get alot of power to clear or smash with your thumb crossing like in the demostration. 3. Misplacement with your thumb can injure your wrist in a long term (with this grip shown on the vid, you will NOT improve your techique).

but if i do the grip change like this ingame ... the opponent will do 5 points until i got my grip ready .... BAD ADVICE!!
-
well apparently switching hands is not good is what most people do i would stick to the origal one

me too :D

i trying to know what the h she is explaining

I don't get it.
Which grips I should use, thens.
According to the comments, I should get rid of panhandle grip.
Or does the grip depend on which shot your going to hit?
If so, what are the grips I should use?
-
What about switching hands?
I always use my right hand.
...unless if i'm chasing for a birdie that is unreachable on my right, i swtich to my left and hit it.
Is that okay? Should I stop?
Or I'm violating any rules.
Thanks.

there are two kind of grips: eastern and western
first is the eastern grip
second is the western
very informative..thanks...just wondering, in Lesson 8 push shots, the guy uses a 45 angled grip...just wondering which type of grip is better...

personally i dont like the way that they do the push shot in lesson 8, the mption should be more like a v this way you dont really hit the net or force ths hsuttle into the net but for push shots yeah you can use a forehand grip no problem some players can go a lol more into a panhandled a modified panhandle that is but yeah both grips work best, forehand on the forehand side, and then backhand on the backhand side.

1st grip shown is the forhand grip that is the correct grip you want to use, the 2nd grip is called pan handle you dont want to use that grip though, they show it so you know not to use it so dont use the 2nd grip. You want to use backhand instead of panhandle which is hold your racquet like a mirroe and then put your hand aroudn the shaft with your thumb ontop the shaft slit it down till your thumb is ontop the cone and your hand is wraped around the grip thats backhand grip.
