Here is a sample of my dumpster diving adventures! I love the fact that I save a lot of money with this pastime and all the things I find don't wind up in a landfill. Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks! :)

  • I started Dumpster Diving when I was just a Kid, back in the 70's. I started doing it again, to find boxes for shipping stuff, that I Sell on eBay, then I found some Bubble Wrap, then some Styrofoam. Now I get all of my Shipping Supplies, except tape and glue out of the dumpsters. I also find a lot of stuff that I can Sell too :) Just recently found a streetlight and some fans, and a electric meter, like the ones that go on the side of the house.I bet it is worth some bucks. Happy Valentines DaY

Thank you! Happy (belated) Valentine's Day to you, too! That's awesome you find all your shipping supplies. There certainly are enough available! :) I found an entire dumpster filled with metal shelving and wished I had a truck this week... those kind of things could be scrapped for cash or used to build shelves at home.

  • I do some dumpster diving, and yeah figuring out the times and days is cool. The monitor I am using and parts of my computer I found in the dumpster. The monitor is a 22" Gateway:) You are a Pretty woman too ;) Thanks for the Video.. I am a Subscriber NOW :)

Wow!!! Thanks for your comments! My local mall doesn't have compactors and although I haven't found much there so far, I know someone who found a dumpster nearly full of brand new blue jeans thrown out. She made a decent amount of $ selling them all! :) It's so cool hearing others' experiences.

  • @bvick777 There is definitely money to be made for one thing, and another thing is cutting down on waste. It blows my mind especially around Christmas time how much "stuff" people throw away because the people know they are about to buy a lot more and they have to make room, so instead of donating to goodwill or salvation army, they just throw it away. Now multiply that times all across the country, times every single day. Its just mind boggling.

  • @bvick777 Also another tip, my ex girlfriend and me used to drive neighborhoods at night, we learned trash pickup schedules of various areas, and the night before we would go around with my pickup and flashlights and see what was set out the night before, we have come home with my pickup truck looking like fred sanfords truck, we`d have to rope the items in just to make it home. Then a lot of times when the weekend got here we would go to the open flea market and sell what we found.
