  • cool video, where in Aus are you firing?

  • Coffs Harbour, NSW

  • I promise not to tell the supermarket you've got one of their trolleys. lol!

Thanks for the clip; I enjoyed it.

    Andrew.

  • This is a special trolley, it goes out at night and brings home strays that we take back,

  • Excellent. Are there variables with the salt?

  • depending on the amount of salt used and the temperature gained. Usually about 6kg of salt over 3 applications, inserted between fire and bag wall at the bottom. reduction at 100DegC, 1st salt(soaked with water) at 1200DegC, build up temp to 1240-1260 and 2 more applications.

  • Good show folks. I too found out a Bourry does not have to be humongus to put out a lot of heat. Have you considered bricking over and side stoking? That's a manageable size kiln too. Stay in there eh!

  • Terrific. Please show the kiln opening and results. Cheers.
