problem is that even with the 350 ton trucks, we need special roads to the mine. the 1000 ton trucks will be almost impossible to accommodate at a lot of mines

Yes, this Liebherr truck is one of the world's largest FOR NOW but much larger trucks designed to haul 1000+ tonnes may be built in the not-too-distant future which could come to a mine, quarry, construction site or oil sand near you around mid-2012. TWO of the new larger trucks will do the jobs of over FIVE of the Liebherr T282B's, saving time, fuel, man-hours, and equipment.
