Shirley Phelps and scripture owned this kid. When she directly quotes the Holy Bible, the youngster looks away and rolls his eyes. His mind is closed and he knows zero about the bible. He could legitimately argue with her about their church's methods, demonstrations, etc., but he is -totally- misguided in his knowledge of scripture.

He is a -proud- sinner. The worst kind. I would suggest he repeatedly play this video until he gets the message. Otherwise, he is doomed for eternity.

@rrevved there are two reasons I roll my eyes. 1) she constantly "quotes" scripture and later will backtrack saying it was only a paraphrase, which makes a big difference 2) It is a clear logical fallacy to attempt to justify her propaganda and scare tactics with her personal interpretation of a text. Even more so with a text that has many different interpretations, which is clearly evident with all the unique sects of Christianity (and Judaism and Islam) that interpret it differently.

@rrevved Are you obligated to hunt down those who think of religion as a way of saying "listen to this guy or you're gonna burn"? Because, many a'people have completely over-exagerated religion into THAT exact idea. They're just too hellbent ignorant to get that. It's their religion, so they think it's the right way to go. That's incredibly wrong.of Westboro Church to push religion onto others and if not, they'll rot in hell, and hopefully these people will cease being religious blowhards.

I tip my hat to you for your boundless capacity for restraint and civility in the face of Shirley's sustained artillery fire of insults. When these interviews devolve as they often do into screaming matches they become as pointless as counting the grains of sand on a beach. But you kept your cool and conducted yourself professionally, helping to draw out her argumenst to their logical end. Not many can do so. The result was a diverting conversation. Someone give this man his own radio show!
