Remember when Dom opened that cell for Marcus back in the first game? Remember when Dom broke down infront of Marcus after finding Maria tortured to death by the locust? Remember when Dom visited Maria and their kids grave at Mercy? All of these moments, makes watching this scene so much harder to bear. Halo and COD fans take note, THIS is how you develop a memorable character.

moments like these are what makes gears of war what it is. Not just a shooter, but an emotional game that really makes you feel for the characters. We all wanted carmine to live, but why dom? It makes sense sure, but damn it...why?
