I love how she almost goes to a different place when she sings this, you can see her just staring off.

@SFFL1996 This is nowhere near horrible...you must've not watched many videos. Katy is not really "great" singer but she is decent meaning she hits the notes about 1/2 to 3/4 of the time but lacks real control and always comes out sounding strained. I'm really not saying she is a great singer but this isn't horrible either...it still sounds okay for a good portion.

@coranglaisgirl Okay I have perfect pitch and no, not every single not is out of tune. I will admit there are quite a number but I'd say at least she hits about half the notes. I agree she doesn't have a great control and her voice comes off as strained but you're really making an overstatment.

I loved reading all these people arguing over who's the better singer, especially that line "i could sing better than her (Perry)". Dude if you could sing better than her, why arnt you?? It just reminds me of all those people on Idol who are like "i sing better than Maria and Gwen Steffani" and then get up then and they are rubbish. To be fair she doesn't sound that bad, i mean she doesn't sound offensive like T-pain or anything. Besides she is not hard on the eyes - it could be so much worse
