@stevenkain I havent tested 600dpi, but we have gotten some newer scanners now.. both panasonic and the newer canon dr9050c. The 9050c is a bit faster than the 9080, but it some times gets "hickups".
If you get serious slow-downs, you might want to check out your virus scanner software, as we had some problem with memory leaks in the virus scannesr, due to a lot of I/O. (serious slow downs)
I see in the officeial specs that it scans 90 pages/minute @ 200dpi in greyscale in full duplex, but I hear it slows down significantly at 600dpi. Could anyone please tell me how many pages can it scan @ 600dpi in greyscale in full duplex mode?
this is professional gear, it costs 15.000$ in Norway and it is a superb scanner. Maintenance, speed, quality, performance, fault tolerence, etc. its VERY GOOD
Does anybody know how does it scan duplex (2 sides of the page)? Does it read them in one motion or does it scan one side, suck the page back in, flip it, scan the other side than flip it back to normal?
