@falldolls This tribute was OVAH!!!! Prior to leaving Chicago, I had not seen or heard anything from Sasha for several months and was wondering if she retired or something, but I understand now. Again, greatful for the tribute. I actually get the same effect each time I watch it. I guess its in hopes, or a way of holding on to this angel.

As being a native of Chicago now living in the ATL, i always saw Sasha perform but was never really in the crowd that was closest to her. Nonetheless, I'm feeling a great lost (tears at this moment) because it seems all the true beauties are going or are gone. I wish that I could say that this princess was a friend of mine, but even in not knowing her on that level I know what she has done for our family/community as a whole. Hun you have alway been CONTINENTAL in my eyes. Rest now baby.

I can remember remembering you. I can still see you and James at the apartment on Rush. I can still see that look in your eyes from Rialto’s after Tasha Thomas performed that night; you came the next week after seeing Tasha perform with your prom date green dress from Fenger H.S.; but what I remember the most is your kindness. I wish that the family of the deceased and friends would receive all of the support that is truly needed to help with coping with the lost of a loved one.
