This pedal prototype showed up at the door of PGS with a note asking that we make a demo. It's a revolutionary Polyphonic Tuner that can detect the pitch of all your strings at once. Not to mention the Polytune is fast and accurate and it works of 4,5, and 6 string basses! We don't know who makes this, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out!

  • Finally quite a novelty.I think that one will toss a lot of Boss TU-2 out of pedalboards if priced right.

  • DHARMA Initiative made tuner =))

  • this is andy's pedal

  • The prototype's in Andy's pedalboard, amiright?

  • i like the look of this old one better! so worn out and old.

  • Anyone else prefer having the prototype version?

  • GIEF. i was about to buy one but it ships in march. god damnit

  • wow figured the pitch black would be a good thing may reconsider buying one have ya tried out others ya may have jsut got a bad one

  • My PitchBlack sucks.. I have a 40 dollar Fender thats just as good. Most of the time the pitchblack doesn't even react when I strum the low E string. I have to pluck it 10 times before it reacts. Overrated. It is accurate though but its slow in inconsistent when picking up a signal. Mine's goin on eBay. Shoulda returned it when I had the chance.

  • not working?

  • Only problem with a pitch pipe is that I've never found one loud enough to tune a bypassed electric guitar on a noisy stage.
