Any bass transducer with good enough ability to oscillate at a sympathetic frequency of a structure and given enough power to do so at sufficient amplitudes will always rattle, not "raddle," the walls.
Making a loudspeaker that can generate sound with a good balance of accuracy and harmony, OTOH, is far more difficult.
For the money that you may spend on Bose, you could've purchased yourself a set of competent speakers from brands like KEF. Or, you could buy a used pair of Klipschorns.

I liken Bose to Black Label; drinkable but, like many other blended scotches, don't compare to single malts.
Or, by using vodka instead of scotch, Bose is like Grey Goose: overpriced and unimpressive when a cheaper Stolichnaya or Ketel One has better taste for less money.

I agree, though there are other choices, like Klipsch, Polk, and JBL.
But, competition is good as it keeps everyone on their toes.
Bose, OTOH, is good at programming zombies to believe that good sound must have gimmicks and high prices instead of keeping it simple and getting the basics right.
Like single malts, the most expensive isn't always the best and everyone has different tastes. Just like some people may like Laphroaig over the Macallan or vice versa, the same holds true for speakers.

Yeah I know you weren't dissing them, and you are right. They are decent speakers and you do get exactly what you pay for. They may not be the best for critical music listening, but I think they are amazing for HT use. They can play deep and loud(most speakers are usually one or the other), and are very good at dialogue reprodution. So if you are looking for a good HT setup, imo CV is the best way to go... other than spending thousands of course(like $3k+)

I wasn't dissing CV. Their speakers are decent and you get exactly what you pay for, perhaps more.

I completely agree. I agree that Cerwin Vega is not the most sonically accurate. But unlike Bose, they have really good bass, solid build quality, and are at a fair price.
CV isn't trying to be anything their not. They are a LOUD speaker company, and their speakers are exactly that. Bose tries to market themselves as a high-end audiophile company... and their speakers fall terribly short of those claims.

Adcom merely makes an adequate amp.
Bose makes an overpriced, mediocre speaker that's heavily reliant on full-range transducers and reflective acoustics, which is why they're never used in professional audio recording, editing, and mastering.
Simply, Bose is not accurate.
For the money, you may as well buy Cerwin-Vega. At least you're getting exactly what you paid for instead of spending several times that for a speaker whose effort had been made more in its marketing than its engineering.
hey im lookin to buy the same center channel you have.
can you tell me if its any good?

Oh yeah its an awesome center and the price is unbeliveable for a center this good sounding. also has pretty good bass. has 2 5 1/4" woofers which go loud. but if you want somthing a little louder i suggest the cls-6c center which has 2 6 1/2 inch woofers. but this one should be plenty. it can keep up with my 12" and 10" cerwins easly.
