Was sorry to hear Mick had passed away; I'd like to have met him, or better still, to have had the chance to play music with him. Nice at least to appeared in this video (I'm the one with strange eyebrows and sideburns with the fighting girls!). It was a fun day! Well done to Adam for pulling it off. And yes, Invisible Hands loved it, as I recall.

Flawed or not, I enjoy this piece of artwork at least once a month for the last 2 years.

R.I.P Mick

An excellent shoot... i just cannot understand the reluctance of the management team as the visuals totally compliment the feel of the music.

love the claustrophobic, slow mo feel to this video. it suits Mick's music well. I think it also brings out a sinister quality to the music.

Unfortunately we had no access to Mick or indeed any musicians or band members for the shoot, otherwise it would have been nice to have a cameo appearance at least.

I don't think this is a failed experiment at all. any experiment which you can learn from is progressive. Besides, Mick Karn is always fun to hear, the coolest mix of styles ever!! Check out Polytown with Terry Bozzio and David Torn!! Holy Crap you will love it!!! Freaky!! Freaky!!!

Glad you like it. I dont think it was a failed experiment, but just that it didnt turn out quite as intended, mainly due to a lack of time and budget. I had really wanted to do a one shot promo for some time, and this came up at really short notice (3 days) with a tiny budget (£600), and we kind of choreographed it on the day with the people who had turned up. One of the people in the video is actually the head of the record label... Funny thing is, Mick's management really didnt like it!.
