  • Youve got quite alot, all I have is the Secret Service at the moment, though i'm happy with it in itself as i'm still able to enjoy it! It's more obscure which is my kinda humor I've enough to buy Thunderbirds off of Best Buy though what angers me is i've got to wait until sometime within the next few weeks for my folks new credit card to come in.

Captain Scarlet is also what got me into Gerry Anderson. Though I wish they still aired on ScyFi rather than the crap they do now

  • @thebladezmanII cool, I think you can get the thunderbirds set off amazon or ebay for $30-$50 from sellers. Yeah they used to air captain scarlet in the late 90s. They used to have obscure sci-fi b movies on there too. Now it's all crappy scyfy originals and assorted nonsense.

  • @fiendwithoutaface : Where did you purchase that entire collection? Website, department store? Because everything about puppet animation intrigues me to a very significant degree.

  • @incascubahistory check amazon sellers and ebay, should be able to pick them all up at a decent price I think.

  • Awesome collection...I'm snagging the Stingray box before the Thunderbirds volumes. We have a different Stingray cover to your box by the look of it. Thanks for the share. What's your fave GA show?

  • @seekah1 thanks for the comment. There's some different extras on the UK dvds from what I understand. Favorite is Captain Scarlet since that's the first one I saw and I like how it's darker/characters are more in proportion than the earlier shows.

  • @fiendwithoutaface66 Since I last talked, I got more DVD's.... I tell you this much, after taking a look at this video, I'm glad I got the slim disc 40th anniversary Thunderbirds set (not to mention getting Captain Scarlet in a one case set.

  • Wow what a lovely collection you have and they don't make show like them any more.

  • Season 1 of Space 1999 was pretty good..also most episodes of U.F.O.

There is a new box set released of Fireball XL-5, that has I think digitaly cleaned up the episodes, and an extra 6th. disc of documentaries..plus a colourised episode.

  • You have many opinions the same as me; I too loved 'Stingray' and it was also 'Captain Scarlet' that got me into Gerry's work, and feel the same as you also about 'Secret Service' - so we're pretty much alike in our views. : - ) Thanks again for showing us your Collection! I intend also to get all the Sets you have there, and I just got my 'Stingray' Set today, and have just watched the first FIVE eps. straight off - it was GREAT!!! 'Captain Scarlet' is on its way to me! : - )

  • Thanks so much for showing all these - very interesting!

  • I originally meant @fiendwithoutaface66
