Testing out my HD Hero Pro on a monopod off a hike up Crow's Nest Peak at Sugar Bowl (CA). The video was shot at 60FPS in 720p (I didn't want to deal with editing at 1080p). I did some color correction and a vignette was added for effect.

  • What is the song title? Love this video!

  • @Trytenjames It's by Phoenix ... Lisztomania (Alex Metric Remix)

  • Hey, you mentioned that you didnt want to edit in 1080...why is that? Because I took some video recently in 1080 and will be editing it soon (should i do something to it before putting it into imovie?) thanks

  • @MatthewKassis Editing in 1080 requires a lot of processing power. If you have an old computer it'll just get annihilated by it. I have a Macbook Pro and it can't handle it very well.

  • what editing program do u use?

  • @TheSnowJunkies The latest iMovie - just put some filters / color correction on everything.

  • @TheGreatDm It's just the GoPro HD Hero (standard lens, etc.) on top of a 3 foot monopod. Recording in 720p at 60 FPS. Did some color correction when I was editing...

  • what type of lens you got on your go pro?

  • whoa, i wanted to check out what sugarbowl was like and you used the same song as the one in my longboarding video!!! crazy stuff!
