I agree and am glad to see someone that is young looking to him, he's a no-nonsense horse trainer. And he is great at what he does. "None of those tricks used by other "Natural Horsemanship Experts". The tricks just inspire disobedience.

Monty is just AMAZING! I plan on using his training mathods with the training of my 2 year old Standardbred mare. Some have told me she'll be too much for me but I wanna give her a chance and maybe with the use of Monty's methods will show them lol.

Honestly, I'm no expert n allbut I doubt a portable fence wuld be good just incase the horse manages to jump it, but hey. Also the electrice doesnt sound to good incase the horse bumps into into or something and gets a shock, giving pain which is not what you want. You should email hima dn see what he says about it, don't take my advice lol, but i just dont think it would be a brilliant idea.

No never use electric fence. the horse will be scared of it if it isnt on or worst, it will shock them if it is on which goes against everything Monty works for.

how big should the round pen be?. and could a portable electric fence work for join up?

Monty is amazing, and his methods make SOOO much sense! I don't know HOW people disagree with them, how can you when they are explained so well! I continue to impress and proove wrong my instructors and fellow riders when I use his methods on horses. They don't beleive me at first me being only a teenager. But thank you Monty, for all you've done for the horses in this world, and the people that love them.
