I meant in terms of feasibility, as Asomo is meant as more of a household servant, and Murata is more of a courier. Sadly, I don't think either is capable of getting up if knocked down, so it'll be a while before they're really feasible to replace humans.
Asimo's eyes are in it's head, but use the same system of 2 cameras. This thing uses a gyroscopic effect provided by the weighted wheel in it's belly. Notice, as you ride a bike, to make most turns, you shift your weight to keep yourself balanced as you go through the forces of making a turn. While Asimo is the most impressive visually, Murata Boy is impressive from an engineering point of view. Both serve purposes the other cannot, because I really can't see Asimo zipping along the sidewalk...
Asimo's development is towards two-legged balanced locomotion. Murata Boy's is locomotion thru a bike. Each one is taking a different path. Each one is excellent at its current developed stage.
