most americans vote along party lines, and I can see how bush got elected, this is a pretty conservative country. but you republicans chose him as your candidate in 2000, from among a dozen other conservatives. are you trying to say there was a single candidate in the 2000 republican primaries who wasnt a complete dumbfuck?

As for Bush, Yeah he isnt that smart, and looks worse because he's apoor public speaker. He has not been a great president, but I just think Kerry or Gore would have been worse. There arent any good candidates running. They are all crooks or just not very bright or both.

Institute of Technology--in case you didnt know, its the most respected science school in the world, except for maybe Caltech. Any way he's just one . A web search will turn up many more.
