Hoki Ryu Embu

While it seems that the sword aspect of Hoki Ryu is someone intact even today, the jujutsu (taijutsu) aspect had been lost. The gentleman on the left, Atsumi Nakashima, acquired the written records of the empty hand techniques and permission to recreate the art from the Soke (hereditary art leader) or the art.
Mr. Nakashiima had a long history of various Koryu arts (as well as shito ryu karate) and used that experience to revive (recreate) the techniques in this demonstration.
