Tekken 3 - King's Graple Combos

I was a bit rusty but I still got most combos first try. I had to look up the button sequences for some of them but it was mainly for the ones I rarely used anyway. These combos still work on the later Tekken sequels and will probably still work on Tekken 6 but I just love Tekken 3's physics and gameplay the most, so that's why I decided to do it this game instead of one of the (better looking) sequels.

There are more graple combos included in the later games, that I never learned to execute (decently) and I didn't feel like doing that just for this vid. Maybe I'll do another one, once Tekken 6 comes out, showcasing ALL of King's graple combos.

@heeresh1990ish Do you mean how the moves are executed? Look below, as the commands show what buttons I'm pressing. It's both color and position that matches the buttons on your controller so you should be able to write them all down just from watching (and maybe pausing) this video.

@FinalAeon dude i'm in a dire need of HELP! I'm an old school like you, and decided to play again tekken now the problem is that i need to practice my moves a bit, but on practice mode i don't get the button order to help me see what i'm doing wrong which is kinda frustrating, any ideas?

@linkuei83 I think it's in the pause option menu in practice mode. I think you're looking for the option "show commands". But as far as I can recall, it's on by default. If it really isn't and you can't find it, try putting on every one of those options (except for CPU behaviour - that's not gonna help your problem).

@FinalAeon there is nothing that would enable em, i guess i must have different version of the game, it's US i think, can you check what version you got?

@linkuei83 I have a the PAL version, as it's the only version that plays on European consoles. I don't think anyone has ever brought this up before. I think it would be very strange if it's a function that didn't make it to NTSC (US) versions.

played this in my childhood and i was shoked when one time king did a combo wich killed me without any chance of a counterattack
