Alright so heres my question. What was the trick with getting through the stair level. I noticed that the ghosts came in contact with you a good number of times but you didnt die. Did you use a code or was there something we all over looked? (by the way you dont seem like the kind at all to use codes for these videos so its just a guess lol.)

I dont like to use codes, glitches, special controllers (unless they were packaged with the game), etc whenever possible. I kept failing the stairs even with all the best items becuase of how slow I was moving by using a standard NES pad instead of something with a Turbo option. So after a while I had to decide if I wanted to use a Turbo controller or a glitch on the stairs. I decided to use the glitch.

If you want to replicate the glitch what you do is get your team knocked down to the ground TWICE after entering the stair area. After that you need to open one of the doors and hope a ghost appears (sometimes they can just be empty rooms) and knocks you down again. This apparently gives you 200+ extra hits in the stair climbing section so you just have to get up top as quick as possible now. Hope it helps if you want to give this game another go.

That makes sense. ITs obivous you dont get a sense of accomplishment with codes and stuff. However I think that ridculous staircase stage, anything counts. lol

Wow 0_0 I would have never figured that out. I always wondered if there was some purpose behind opening those doors. Would have never thought one would lead to a glitch.
