I have seen the film, "Departure Lounge." I think personally it's the best deaf film I ever have seen. The actors and settings are flawless! I'm gonna google the writer up and get to know his work more. I'm hoping to see more of his works coming soon! Thanks for sharing that with us!

Yes there are many deaf victims out there, not only at VRS but post office, contractors and other employment places. Often times, deaf employees get reprimanded for talking too much, taking a long break, or whatever when they have valid reason. They get picked on more often. PO were the worst offenders for many deafies cuz they forbaded them to talk on tty, supvrs were watching their convo, etc..... So now with VRS, I'm not surrpised. Kudos for Maria in coming out and sharing her story...

There is only one sorenson company in British Columbia. Im not sure if any of other provinces has it. I will try my best to find out. I heard one deaf person who used to be working in this company doesnt work anymore. (what all I heard is this person didnt like work at sorenson company) well..

VRS will be spreading out in Canada in 2012 (thats what I heard, but have no proof of that info yet) It will be more likely for Sorenson to connect new vrs that will be made in Canada and continue with its power. It will happen the same thing to Canada as what it has happened in USA. I dont want that to happen. I think there is something I got to do against it. Pls carry this issue with our concenrs as Canadians on your vlog. thanks. will keep in touch with you abt this later when necessary.

I remember watch that film Departure Lounge, I agree with you complete its worth it to watch that film. Also, it in some ways remind me little bit about book well known title "Tuesday with Morris" I would suggest anyone who haven't seen it yet WATCH IT!

Your comment accepted. Time will tell. People can decide if I am credible or not. I am just here to say my two cents. It may not be even two cents to some people and that is okay with me.

Let's hope people identify themselves when they report to FCC. I did. There are more stories out there. I agree with you that it costs $ and effort to investigate things. Report only if you are sure it is true. Provide email conversations, IM, names of employees, and more.

Actually, again, I disagreed. I have a couple of friends working at FCC (except that they do not work for TRS, FYI) and not a long time ago, I asked what did they think about that particular blogsite -- I even asked if they can consider SOME commenters' claims to investigate -- both said no. Both said that without *names*, they are not credible and it costs $ and effort to investigate things.
EVEN if someone posted a credible comment but did not identify themselves, it is no good to them.
Because I joined YouTube on 1/25/10, it means I can't comment anywhere until when? I joined because of RC. He told me about your vlog. I first saw his vlog via Signcast, but after seeing that there is a lot of discussion going on YouTube, I joined. If you think my comment will weigh more six months from now, fine with me. You can wait and decide when my comment is acceptable. I have no problem with that. You take it or not.

All right, if you are familiar with how the comments work in the world of internet - people often checked one's participation to ensure that one is being sincere in opening the discussion or to create frictions by trolling the comments throughout the internet.
I cannot help but feel that your secretive background (lack of info on your profile) along with sign up on 1/25/10 has ultimately hindered your credibility.
