Horizontal machining center productivity gets a boost with Makino's Inertia Active Control (IAC) technology (http://www.makino.com/horizontal-mach...). By delivering inertia feedback from the B-axis motor to the machining center's control system, IAC technology quickly evaluates and adjusts acceleration and deceleration settings to optimal levels for the specific pallet condition.
