Lyrics:
"Slow Leak" Written & Performed by Tawnee Kendall

Slow intention, the way that you're talking
You got the time, but it's space that's not working
You want to get gone before you got nothing to leave.

The way you come in, you pull out the air dear
You got me thinking there's nothing else left here
I'm only half done so I couldn't have done you all wrong.

Why don't you fix it if you know it's not working?
Why don't you want it if you know it's not broken?
You know it's aching but you only want to leave it alone.

There's a tear here, I'm feeling the air move
Every shudder is breaking up this room
I can't keep talking 'bout gain if you've got nothing to loose.

You got a slow leak, you're running this place dry
I've got it bottled up, buried on the inside
I would trade you if I knew it would do you no harm.

Why don't you fix it if you know it's not working?
Why don't you want it if you know it's not broken?
You know it's aching but you only want to leave it alone.

You got a slow leak, you're running this place dry
I've got it bottled up, buried on the inside
I would trade you if I knew it would do you no harm.
I would fix it but you will not tell me what's wrong.
I would fix it but you will not tell me what's wrong.

  • Magic! What an expression...

  • ...Hello Tawnee,

I've been busy lately, but I'm glad i logged in today. As always you kick butt, but i do think it's time for us to figure out a way to get you 2 microphones, one for the guitar and the other for that lovely voice of yours. Your songs have so much depth, and your voice is very soulful, but it's not coming through with the on board camera mics. I want the "full Tawnee experience?" Am i wrong for wanting?

  • @bladefrog72 Right on, those are very nice. I was looking into those before I got my Taylor. Unfortunately, that was when the CPX line had just been released and there were none in stores to test. I had always liked them because of how they sounded when Ed Roland of Collective Soul was/is playing them live.

  • Awesome vid Teek. I love the colours and the editing

  • @azb24 I think its a 700.

  • Wicked! Sounds great!

    Yamaha CPX 700/900?
