Jazz great Bob Thompson interviewed by Songwriter Night host Todd Burge in the Balcony at The Adelphia Music Hall at The Galley in Marietta, Ohio. Mr. Thompson talks about the songwriting process, where he gets ideas, and his latest album, Smile. He also plays two original songs, "The Queen Street Blues" and "This is My Love Song for You (Wedding Song)".
Bob Thompson and his band, Bob Thompson Unit, are playing a special Holiday Show with Dinner at The Adelphia Music Hall, the premier live music venue in the Mid-Ohio Valley, with an eight course dinner accompanying the show, taking diners on a journey around the culinary world, provided by The Galley restaurant, on Thursday, December 2, 2010. This special intimate holiday concert and dinner will be a partial preview of Mr. Thompson's annual "Joy to the World" concert, broadcast worldwide by National Public Radio.
